Rich Franklin
Rich Jay Franklin II is a mixed martial art fighter. He is a former Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight champion.This is the biggest mma fighting competition which is theUFC. He was born in 1974. He is graduated from William Henry Harrison High School, having bachelor degree in mathematics, and master degree in education at the University of Cincinnati. He even taught mathematics at the Oak Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He learned martial arts with the help of instructional video tapes. He started his career with mixed martial art with a perfect 4-0 including victories over veterans like Evan Tanner and Ken Shamrock. At December 2005 Franklin defended for his title against Nate Quary at the ufc, who was competitor from season 1 of the ultimate fighter. He won the fight in the first round and Nate Quary was knocked out in the first round. Franklin defeated David Loiseau after a five round fight, even his left hand was broken early in the second round. The injury required surgery, including a metal plate and screws and Franklin was out of action for six months. He lost his title, since he was defeated by Anderson Silva a Brazilian fighter in 2006. He was knocked out by Silva in the first round after a knee kick on face. Rich has a wife who is a former teacher at Reading High School.
